On July 9, EAFG organised the policy dialogue in the European Parliament with the support of EU-Georgia Friendship Group. The event was attended by the politicians, EU officials, and representatives of the civil society, academia and students. The panel consisted of Michael Gahler, MEP, Co-Chair of EU-Georgia Friendship Group, Mathieu Bousquet, Head of Unit, Neighbourhood East, DG NEAR, European Commission, Steven Blockmans, Senior Research Fellow and Head of EU Foreign Polic...y Unit, Center for European Policy Studies, Zurab Khamashuridze, Deputy Head of Georgian Mission to EU, Louis Delcart, co-founder of EAFG and Dr Sandra Schott, Academic Director of International School of Protocol and Diplomacy. The speakers discussed the following questions: What could be the next symbolic milestone in EU-Georgia relations? How to best use the opportunities of institutional engagement to support Georgia’s Europeanisation process? How a possible roadmap for Georgia's political integration can be envisaged and what are the most crucial factors of such process to be taken into account?
